Your Wedding Day at Little America
Ximena and Stephen’s wedding at Little America in Flagstaff was the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple: warm, grounded, and centered on their people. From the beginning, they shared that they didn’t want the day to feel like the spotlight was only on them. Instead, they wanted their closest family and friends to feel celebrated too.
As their intimate wedding photographer, my role was not only to document the moments but also to create space for those connections to shine. It’s easy for weddings to become overwhelming or overly focused on details, but for Ximena and Stephen, the focus stayed exactly where it belonged on love, laughter, and time spent with their community.
One of the things I love most about being a Flagstaff photographer is how every wedding is unique. At Little America, the tall pines, cozy atmosphere, and welcoming staff make it a venue that feels both elevated and intimate. For couples who want a relaxed day that still feels special, it’s one of my favorite places to work.
Behind the scenes, a big part of my responsibility as a wedding photographer is leading the day. That doesn’t mean taking over, but it does mean keeping things flowing smoothly so my couples don’t have to worry about the clock. For Ximena and Stephen, that meant gently guiding portraits, making sure they had quiet moments together, and keeping the timeline moving so they could stay fully present with their guests.
Their celebration was filled with heartfelt toasts, meaningful hugs, and joyful dancing, proof that when a couple prioritizes their people, the day naturally becomes unforgettable.
If you’re looking for an intimate wedding photographer who will keep the focus on you and your loved ones while making sure the day feels easy and stress-free, I would love to connect. Being a Flagstaff photographer means I get to witness and document weddings like Ximena and Stephen’s at Little America celebrations where love and community are at the heart of everything.
